Remote Learning

Remote Learning 2020-2021

Remote Learning from Tuesday 5th January onwards

Remote learning tasks for Year 6 can be found on Google Classroom. If you are having issues accessing Google Classroom, please contact the office or email Y6@parkhall-jun.walsall.sch.uk.

To access Google Classroom, you must have signed out of all other google accounts (including Gmail) before signing in with your school username.

There is a link to a Google Classroom user video guide and common problems below.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LOG ON AND COMPLETE THE REGISTER QUESTION BY 9am!

How to complete your work

At home, you should have your English, Maths, Draft and Science (Biology) books. For all other lessons, you will be working in your notebook, on paper or on Google Classroom as directed by your teacher.

You also have your CGP books to use as directed by your teacher.

As much as possible, the work provided will be the same as those in school. Wherever lessons cannot be matched, a suggestion for other resources has been found if possible.

Please make sure your work continues to follow the school presentation policy and your handwriting is neat! The children have been shown how to start every lesson on a new page and write the date (short date for maths, long date for everything else) and LO (Learning Objective) neatly. They have also been told that every page in Maths needs a 2 or 3 square wide margin and again a neat date and LO that begins 2 squares away from the margin (examples of this can be found in the presentation policy on the school website).
