Spellings – Remember to keep practising spellings and use them, when you can, in your writing.

Features of a leaflet (structural and grammatical) – ensure you first have a go at listing what you think the features are, then add to your list with any features you missed.

Scroll up to the top of the page and click ‘Next Activity’ click through the slides until you see the independent task (should be larger than on the video). You can mentally number the boxes from 1- 16 and write the features into books or you may choose to copy the section the arrow is pointing to. Complete the task in your Homework book. Then, resume the video by scrolling up to the top of the page and selecting resume and mark your work in green pen.

Once the video is finished please close it. Then, click ‘Next Activity’. You should see ‘Start Quiz’ complete the quiz. Record your score (out of 9) in your Homework book then send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning tomorrow.

INDEPENDENT TASK – tomorrow, you will be asked to start planning your own leaflet for somewhere. This could be where you live, somewhere you like to go to on holiday or somewhere that interests you.  I would like you to do this planning and research today so that you can have longer to write and edit your work.  As part of your plan, you should include possible sub-headings, reasons people would want to visit, interesting facts as well as vocabulary choices you might want to use.
