Please Note: We have added suggested timings onto our daily tasks for you follow if it helps you to organise your day. You do not have to follow these times – talk to an adult at home to decide what will work best for you. If you are following your own timetable, we have added a time in brackets which is a guideline to show how long each activity might take.
First, remember to send a message (by 10am) on I Am Learning to your teacher to count as your register mark. Include your scores from yesterday's quizzes for English and Maths.
9:00-9:30 – PE with Joe Wicks
9:30-11:10 - English activities (English lesson, spelling tasks, reading)
11:10 -11:30 - take a break.
11:30-12:30 - Maths lesson
12:30 - 1:30 - Lunch
1:30-1:40 - Multiplication / Arithmetic
1:40-3:10 (1 ½ hours) – Complete tasks set for Science/Music/French/Art/Design and Technology/History/Geography/RE – there will be different subjects set on different days
3:10-3:30 (20 minutes) – Votes for schools (on the class pages you will find a folder with the resources for the week’s topic. Go through the slides for the day, generate discussions with your family and vote at the end of the week.
If you would like to complete some additional tasks, on the Year 5 distance learning page there are lots of resources. You can work through the extra home packs, complete some of the optional homework projects, listen to audio books and explore many of the different web links.
