Spelling (20 minutes)

Follow the link below. Select yrs 5&6, then select ‘patterns’ and ‘-fer-r-ing’.


Mark your spelling from yesterday. Correct any errors in green. 



Reading (10 minutes)

Continue to read the book that you have chosen this week. Discuss the book with someone at home.  


Arithmetic (20 minutes)

Complete the task on I am Learning – Mixed numbers and improper fractions.



Roy Lichtenstein was an American pop artist. During the 1960s. He became a leading figure in the new art movement, Pop Art. He used comic strips as his main inspiration. His 'Pop Art Explosions' were some of his most iconic pieces of work.


Have a go at creating your own pop art explosion on plain paper. It could say whatever you would like in the middle of the explosion or you could use an onomatopoeia word such as ‘thud’, ‘crash’, ‘splash’, etc.
