Reading (40 minutes)
Log into your account on the Reading Cloud and write a book review for the e-book you have been reading. Comment on the genre, plot, setting, main characters/your favourite character, your thoughts about the book and who you would recommend it to.
Mark your reading task from yesterday. Please mark answers neatly in green pen and correct any errors.
Spelling (20 minutes)
Get someone to test you on this week’s words. Remember to practise any words that you do not spell correctly.

Complete the following tasks on My Maths: ‘Measuring lengths’ and ‘Area of rectangles’.
Art (1 ½ hours)
45 minutes - research
Use the internet or any books you may have at home to research an artist of your choice. You can pick from any of the following five artists:
Andy Warhol, Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Kandinsky, Georgia O’Keefe
For 45 minutes make notes on either a Microsoft Word document or by writing in a spare notebook or on lined paper. Include facts about the artist such as -
Create a fact file on plain paper based on the above information. Use a title, sub-headings, fact boxes, indented paragraphs and bullet points. You could also recreate one of their famous art pieces on your fact file. Make sure it is colourful and factually accurate. Write in blue pen but you may add colour in pictures or in the title. There is an example of a fact file about Picasso for you to look at. There is also a template providing an idea for the layout of your information.
