Resources

Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book.

Instructions

First, click start lesson and then start quiz. Complete the knowledge quiz (out of 4) and click submit. Record your score in your Maths book. Then, ‘Close Quiz’ and scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

Watch the video and the teacher will explain when to pause so you can complete an activity. There will be two practice questions for you to try. Write the answers in your book and then resume the video each time so you can mark your answers in green pen.

Main Activity (Independent task): Choose one number from the orange box and one number from the purple box to multiply together to make the number in the pink box. You will need to use trial and error. Try to find all of the possible combinations that will equal 20,896 as there are quite a few! You can see a larger version of the task if you close the video and select ‘Next Activity’. When you have completed the task, resume the video and mark your answers using green pen.

When the video has finished, close the video and click ‘Next Activity’. Complete the final quiz and record your score in your Maths book. The best way to work out the answers for the final quiz, is to work out the answers for both of the multiplications in your book and then answer true or false. Remember an arrow pointing left is less than and pointing right is more than.
