LO: To identify lines of symmetry in a pattern.

Instructions

First, complete the knowledge quiz and record the score in your exercise book.

Then, ‘Close Quiz’ and scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

 

Watch the video, the teacher will explain when to pause to complete an activity. Remember worksheets can be seen on the ‘Slides’ page.

Remember to mark all work in green pen.

Magic Maths – Listen to the comparison of the population in different countries.

 

To Start (Slide 2)- Complete the number trees. Don’t worry about the shapes- use 1 square in your book to write each number in copying the pattern on the screen.

Now listen to the explanations on the video and complete the activities you are asked to do.

Moving on (Slide 3 and 4)- Complete the symmetrical patterns by shading the squares in your book. Please remember to draw the line of symmetry.

Main Task (Slide 5 and 6): Complete the symmetrical patterns in your book using the correct colours. Please remember to draw the line of symmetry.

 

When you have completed this task stop the video and click ‘Next Activity’ and take the exit quiz by pressing ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the quiz and record your score in your Maths book and send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning tomorrow.
