To Start (Slide 2 and 3): Task 1: Draw the number grid in your book and complete the number crossword. Please mark in green pen.

Now listen to the explanation about translations.

Task 2: Draw the table, work out the coordinates for each point put them in the table.


Moving On (Slide 4): How have the coordinates been translated? (Remember, right and up is positive and left and down is negative.)


Challenge (Slide 5 and 6): Task 1: Find out where the coordinates came from. You need to write down the starting coordinate for each point. Mark in green pen.

Task 2: Now find where the next sent of coordinates started. Mark in green pen
