L.O. To explore the properties of quadrilaterals.  


Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book.


Quadrilateral – a four sided polygon.

Rectangle, square, trapezium, rhombus, parallelogram


Click start lesson and complete the knowledge quiz. Record your score in your Maths book. Click ‘Next Activity’.


Watch the video. The teacher will explain when to pause so you can complete an activity. Write the answers in your book and then resume watching the video to mark them in green pen.  


Main Activity (Independent task) – when the teacher has explained the task, pause and close the video. Select ‘Next Activity’ and go to slide 2. In your book, draw the table and write the headings. Sort the shapes into the table based on their properties. You do not have to draw the shapes – instead write the number in the table.

When you have completed the task, resume the video and mark your answers using green pen.


Click ‘Next Activity’ and complete the final quiz. Record your score in your Maths book.
