LO: To investigate Roman Numerals up to one hundred

Instructions

First, complete the knowledge quiz and record the score in your exercise book.

Then, ‘Close Quiz’ and scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

 

Watch the video, the teacher will explain when to pause to complete an activity. Remember worksheets can be seen on the ‘Slides’ page.

Remember to mark all work in green pen.

 

Magic Maths – What is the number?

 

To Start (Slide 2)- Complete the number trees. Don’t worry about the shapes- use 1 square in your book to write each number in copying the pattern on the screen.

 

Now listen to the explanations on the video and complete the activities you are asked to do.

 

Moving on (Slide 3)- Use your logic skills and powers of deduction to complete the hundred square in Roman Numerals.

 

Main Task (Slide 4): Can you work out the missing terms in each of the number sequences?

Copy the sequences into your books.

 

Challenge (Slide 5)- One of the terms of the number sequence has been given to you, what could the rest of the sequence be?

 

When you have completed this task stop the video and click ‘Next Activity’ and take the exit quiz by pressing ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the quiz and record your score in your Maths book. .
