L.O. To describe the properties of 3-D shapes.


Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book.





First, complete the knowledge quiz and record your score in your Maths book. Then, click ‘Next Activity’.


Watch the video. The teacher will explain when to pause the video so you can complete an activity. Remember to use your mathematical language when describing the shapes. Mark answers in green pen and complete any corrections when the teacher goes through the answers.


Independent task – complete the independent task in your Maths book. Challenge yourself and try to also include descriptions of those shapes that are polyhedrons or prisms. You could also list objects that you know are this shape.


To view the tasks on a larger screen, pause and close the video, click next activity and scroll through the slides. After completing the independent tasks, resume watching the video and mark your answers in green pen.


Click ‘Next Activity’ and complete the final quiz. Record your score in your Maths book.
