L.O. To solve problems involving division with remainders.  

Resources

Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book.

Instructions

First, complete the knowledge quiz and record your score in your Maths book. Then, click ‘Next Activity’.

 

Watch the video. The teacher will explain when to pause so you can complete an activity. Once you have written down your answer, resume watching the video and mark your work in green pen. Remember to correct any errors in green pen.

 

 

Independent task - Pause the video and click on ‘Next Activity’ to see a larger version of your task. Write the calculation in your book and write the answer with a remainder and then with the remainder expressed as a fraction. Show any working out that you do. Look at the answers and write down anything that you notice. Explain your findings carefully in full sentences. When you have completed the questions, resume the video and mark your answers carefully using green pen.

 

There is no end of lesson quiz today. Instead, complete the task ‘Division remainders’ on My Maths.
