LO: To convert between millimetres (mm) and metres (m).

Resources

Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book.

Instructions

First, complete the knowledge quiz. This is to show what you already know so don’t worry if you find some questions tricky. Record your score in your Maths book.

Then, ‘Close Quiz’ and scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

Watch the video, the teacher will explain when to pause to complete an activity. We are not using the worksheets referred to. They look exactly the same as the activities you see on the video and slides so don’t worry about not having them.
Complete all work (including warm ups) in your Maths book under your Date and LO, not on a sheet of paper. You can reply to the teacher out loud just like a real lesson! When it says ‘Your turn’ write your answer in your book then mark in green pen when the teacher tells you the answer (you can pause the video if you need more time).

Main Activity-

Task 1: Draw the table in your maths book, including the writing and values. The first one has been done for you and the teacher will show you so listen to him explain this to you. Pause the video and complete task 1 first! Then resume the video to listen to the next part.

Task 2: There are four questions and the teacher is asking you to answer each question with two measurements Read each question really carefully. Pause whilst you complete the task.

Resume the video and mark your answers in your green pen. When you have completed this task stop the video and click ‘Next Activity’ and take the exit quiz by pressing ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the quiz and record your score in your Maths book and send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning tomorrow.
