L.O. To illustrate and name parts of a circle.

Resources (including
exercise book being used)

Maths book, pencil, green pen and ruler.  

Instructions

Write your date and LO in your Maths book, then complete the Introductory quiz. Record your score in your Maths book.

Then, scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

 

Watch the video, the teacher will explain when to pause. When it says ‘Your turn’ write your answer in your book then mark in green pen when the teacher tells you the answer (you can pause the video if you need more time). 

 

Make sure you make a note of the key vocabulary and definitions as you watch. (circumference, radius, diameter)

 

INDEPENDENT TASK- Pause and close the video and click ‘Next activity’. The task is on the slides. Once you have completed the task, resume the video and mark your working (edit errors in green pen).

 

Extension task:  Today’s extension task isn’t linked – it’s just something to get you thinking.  ‘Magic Squares’.

 

Then, click ‘Next Activity’ to view ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the ‘Exit quiz’ and record your score (out of 5) in your Maths book then send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning on Friday.
