L.O. To solve practical problems involving circles.

Resources (including
exercise book being used)

Maths book, pencil, green pen and ruler.

Instructions

Write your date and LO in your Maths book, then complete the Introductory quiz. This is to show what you already know so don’t worry if you find some questions tricky. Record your score in your Maths book.

Then, scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

 

Watch the video, the teacher will explain when to pause. When it says ‘Your turn’ write your answer in your book then mark in green pen when the teacher tells you the answer (you can pause the video if you need more time) 

Make sure you record the relationships between the features of a circle in your book. 

 

INDEPENDENT TASK- Pause and close the video and click ‘Next activity’. The task is on the slides. Once you have completed the task, resume the video and mark your working (edit errors in green pen).

 

Extension: ‘Mystery Tables’

 

Then, click ‘Next Activity’ to view ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the ‘Exit quiz’ and record your score (out of 4) in your Maths book then send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning on Monday.
