LO: To investigate angles within shapes

Resources

Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book.

 

Instructions

First, complete the knowledge quiz and record the score in your exercise book.

Then, ‘Close Quiz’ and scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

Remember to mark all work in green pen.

To Start (Slide 2)- work out what the missing numbers are in the sequence and then write what the rule is. Listen to the teacher explain how he has worked out the first one.

 

Moving on (Slide 3)   Take a look at the angles on slide 3. Your task is to label each angle as either an acute, right or an obtuse angle.

 

Main Task 1 (Slide 4): Firstly, read the statement in each box carefully. You have to decide whether you think that statement is always true, sometimes true or never true. You then have to draw the shapes to help prove your answer. Watch and listen to the teacher carefully as he reads out the instructions.

When you have completed this task stop the video and click ‘Next Activity’ and take the exit quiz by pressing ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the quiz and record your score in your Maths book and send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning tomorrow.
