LO: To compare and classify isosceles and scalene triangles

Resources

Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book.

Instructions

First, complete the knowledge quiz and record the score in your exercise book.

Then, ‘Close Quiz’ and scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

Remember to mark all work in green pen.

Watch the video, the teacher will explain when to pause to complete an activity. Remember worksheets can be seen on the ‘Slides’ page.

Maths Tricks – Look at today’s trick then play it on someone in your family.

 

To Start (Slide 2)- Work out what the missing numbers are in the sequence and then write what the rule is. Listen to the teacher explain how he has worked out the first one.

 

Then Listen to explanation about scalene and Isosceles triangles and their properties.

 

Moving on (Slide 3)   Work from left to right. The spellings are at the top of the page so copy these carefully!

 

Main Task 1 (Slide 4): As with other work this week, you could either print, draw straight onto or make your own dotty paper. Your first task is to draw scalene triangles.

Main Task 2 (Slide 5): As with other work this week, you could either print, draw straight onto or make your own dotty paper. Your second task is to draw isosceles triangles.

 

When you have completed this task stop the video and click ‘Next Activity’ and take the exit quiz by pressing ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the quiz and record your score in your Maths book and send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning tomorrow.
