Maths Lesson

LO: to find unit fractions of a given quantity.

(including  exercise book being used) Pencil, ruler, green pen, Maths book

First, complete the knowledge quiz. This is to show what you already know so don’t worry if you find some questions tricky. Record your score in your Maths book.

Then, ‘Close Quiz’ and scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

Watch the video, the teacher will explain when to pause to complete an activity. Complete all work (including warm ups) in your Maths book under your Date and LO, not on a sheet of paper. When it says ‘Your turn’ write your answer in your book and show your working out like the teacher asks you to. As you go through the video, some of the ‘Your Turn’s may get a little harder but try your best. Then mark in green pen when the teacher tells you the answer (you can pause the video if you need more time).

Main Activity- Listen to the explanation and then pause and close the video. Open the slides which show the larger images of the independent tasks. These questions want you to explain why and give reasons why you think the answer is what you are saying so try your best and use pictorial representations to help you explain. Once you have finished you can then resume the video and go through your answers with the teacher and mark in green pen.

Then, click ‘Next Activity’ to view ‘Start Quiz’. Complete the quiz then record your score in your Maths book then send your English and Maths score to your class teacher when you send your ‘Good Morning’ message on I Am Learning tomorrow.
