Maths book, pencil, green pen and ruler.

Instructions

Write your date and LO in your Maths book, then complete the start quiz.

Record your score in your Maths book.

Then, scroll up to the top of the page then click ‘Next Activity’.

Make sure you write down the definition.

 

Perimeter of Rectilinear shapes

Make sure you have a go at the ‘We Do’ and ‘Quick Check’ questions.

 

Finding Missing Sides

Make sure you watch how Miss Buckmire models finding the answers.  Please follow the same steps – don’t just try and do it in your head (you might get them right most of the time but are bound to make mistakes sometimes too).

Complete the practice questions.

Spend around 10 minutes to work out the answers and explain why you can’t caluculate some of the options.

Complete the worksheet, draw out the shapes and label them clearly as part of your calculations.
