My favourite Science activity this year: This year I thoroughly enjoyed learning about rocks (igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary).
Why where you chosen to be ‘Super Scientist’?: My teacher chose me to be super scientist because I am fascinated by science and I ask my teacher really good questions.
What I enjoy about Science: I absolutely love Space and I enjoy reading books about it. What amazes me is how vast this universe is and how many cool things are in it.
I would love to learn more about this in Science in the future: I would like to learn more about Space, in particular how stars are formed.
Fascinating fact: The largest known object in the universe is the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall. It is a big cluster of galaxies held together by gravity. It is about 10 billion light-years across. (Just in case you’re wondering, ‘What is a light-year?’ A light-year is the distance light travels in one year, it’s about 5.9 trillion miles.)
