Reading – Read p19-24 of ‘First News’ (this can be found under this table or in the Distance Learning folder). Discuss stories with an adult.

Re-read ‘Crazy But True’ story – Not everything’s closed if you’re a penguin (this can be found under this table) and complete the crossword.

Handwriting - CGP Handwriting – Writing Without Guidelines p14 and 15

Grammar – Complete the I am Learning activity about ‘a’ or ‘an’.

Research the layers of the Earth and draw a diagram with labels showing each layer. You need to write a fact/definition for each layer.

Research a famous volcano and create a fact file on it. You could include where it is in the world? How many times it has erupted? When was the last time it erupted? You could write about the effects it had on the people and country it erupted in.

 

Some famous volcanoes are

  • Mount Etna
  • Mount Versuvius
  • Mount Merapi
  • Stromboli
  • Mount Fuji

But there are many more too.
