Remember, your first job everyday is to send a 'Good Morning'  message to your class teacher on I Am Learning by 10 am.

Don't forget to include your scores from yesterday's Maths and English end of lesson quizzes!

 

If you run out of space in any exercise books (orange Maths or yellow English book), please ask an adult to contact the office to arrange to pick up a new one.

Optional Writing Competition: 

‘The National Book Tokens and Puffin Big Dreamers Writing Competition’

For this competition, you are asked to write a story up to 300 words using the theme BIG DREAMS. You can interpret the theme however you like. Be as creative as you can thinking about extraordinary adventures and magical encounters. The winners are chosen by six Puffin authors: Nathan Bryon and Sam Copeland (6-10), Robin Stevens and Yassmin Abdel-Magied (11-15), and Emma Smith-Barton and Carrie Hope Fletcher (15-18).  The grand prize is a £200 National Book Token and there are some other prizes available too. The deadline for the competition is midnight on Thursday 28th May 2020. Your parents will need to submit your story online following the link below. More information can also be found by following the link. If you would like to share your story with your teacher, please email it to the school office and add your class teacher’s name. Good luck and be as creative as you can!

Listen and practise the french words for the pets that Farley mentions. There are some others on the sheet below. Listen carefully to the video to find out different adjectives that can be used to describe the pets. You could practise this vocabulary by making matching cards. On one piece of paper write the French word for an animal on another piece of paper write the English. Then, muddle all the pieces of paper up and try and find the matching pairs.
