Mark KS2 English Comprehension Year 5 Targeted Question Book p.30-31 ‘The Wolves of Willoughby Chase’. You will find the answers at the top of this page. Use your green pen to mark and edit your answers.
Read chapter four ‘The Entomology Vaults’ in Beetle Boy. Look up in a dictionary any vocabulary you are not familiar with.
Continue reading your chosen e-book on the Reading Cloud.
Spelling (20 minutes)
New spellings –
bought, brought, tough, although, borough, bough, toughest, distraught, recognise, restaurant
In a notebook or on paper, practise spelling the words (write, write, cover and write, cover and write, check). Practise any you do not spell correctly. Look up the definitions of any words that you are not familiar with.
Arithmetic (10 minutes) – complete the questions in your maths books.
Maths (1 hour)
Mark your Maths work - pages 36 and 37 in the CGP book / page 76 Textbook 1. You will find the answers at the top of this page. Please mark answers neatly in green pen and correct any errors.
Complete the task on My Maths to recap multiplying decimals by 10 and 100.
Then use the revision sheet in your pack to revise Metric Units. Follow the link below to read more about metric units and watch the video. There is a short activity on the web link too.
Then complete ‘Metric Conversions’ on I Am Learning.
