Normally, we send over a homework sheet to the infants for the children to take home but obviously this is not possible this year. Please have a look at the document below and try to do some of the things on it. Most importantly though, have a lovely Summer Holiday and we all look forward to seeing you in September.
Mr Westaway, Miss Bradburn and Mrs Potts
Over the next few weeks, it would be great if you could get your child to fill in the booklet below. We would like them to use it to tell us a little bit about themselves. It would be best if you can print it out at home and then, when your child has completed it, bring it in to school with them when they come over in September. If you want to do it but are unable to print it out, you could always pop to the school office and ask for a paper copy as they will have some printed off ready. Thanks. Mr Westaway
Click on the link below for some good advice for getting to school safely in September.
Open the PowerPoint below to see what to expect when you join us next year. The presentation will just run automatically when you start it; you won't need to click to move slides on. Just sit and watch until the song ends. Obviously, to adhere to Government guidelines, some aspects of a normal day may differ slightly but this will give you an idea of what to expect. Enjoy!
Thank you so much for some of the excellent questions we have received so far. Some of them will be answered by the PowerPoint that will be uploaded here later today. There is still plenty of time to send questions in if you have some. Just email them into the school and put 'FAO Mr Westaway - questions' in the subject.
In terms of finding out about which class you are in, which children you are with, who your teacher is and what colour house you will be in, please be patient. We will inform you of these as soon as we can.
Year 3 2020-21
Hello. We hope you are excited and looking forward to joining us here at Park Hall Junior Academy next academic year. Plans are in place to work out exactly how it is going to work and you will be informed as soon as possible. In the meantime, we will be posting some transition videos and activities to help you 'visit' our school in the virtual sense. We will try to show you around, introduce you to staff, provide some transition activities and do some Q and A sessions to prepare you for your move into Y3. We hope you are all safe and well and can't wait to actually welcome you into school.
