As part of their homework tasks, children will need to access to several online learning platforms. The easiest way for your child to access these site is by using 'My Login' by clicking on the link below which will help them access their WONDE dashboard. On the dashboard, children will be able to easily access the different websites we use in school and for home learning. To log in, children will need their Magic Badge/emoji password which will be stuck into their homework book/planner.

More information about some of the most commonly used learning platforms can be found below.
Children will receive their homework weekly either through their homework books (Y3-5) or their planner (Y6). When needed, there will also be additional information uploaded onto their Class Google Classroom page. This will normally happen on a Thursday. We would recommend that you have access to your child's Google Classroom password so that you can check the Class page if needed.

Spelling Shed- Click here to access This website allows children to practise the spellings they have learnt in class but also review spellings they are not confident with. Children will complete a termly test in school to review the words they have learnt to identify any spelling patterns they need further practice on. You can find the current spellings that your child is learning by looking for the spelling overviews on Google Classroom.

If you have any issues with accessing learning platforms at home, please contact the school and we will provide more help.
We are required to publish information about our Remote Education Provision on the website. This covers children who cannot attend school on an individual basis but also if the school closes for all pupils. I have written up the below using what we would do on a snow day/ no water day etc. A lot of the first paragraph is slightly reworded from the non-statutory guidance at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/providing-remote-education-guidance-for-schools/providing-remote-education-guidance-for-schools
Remote Education Provision in the Event of School Closure
Remote education will only ever be considered as a last resort where a decision has already been made that attendance at school is not possible, but pupils are able to continue learning. After exploring all options to ensure the school remains open to all pupils, there may still be some exceptional occasions when the school or the local authority decide it is not possible to open safely, or where opening would contradict guidance from local or central government. In such a circumstance, remote education would be provided.
For Park Hall Junior Academy, lessons and activities will be provided through Google Classroom via your child’s Homework Classroom. Teachers will signpost to Oak Academy lessons to provide children with access to video lessons. Where planned activities can be adapted for children to complete at home, this work will be shared via Google Classroom. Where possible, depending on the timing of the school closure, work will be available from 9am.
Children also have access to additional online platforms such as Times Tables Rockstar, SpellShed and Purple Mash.
If a child has a query about their remote learning, they can message an adult through Google Classroom. Alternately, teachers are contactable by emailing
