At Park Hall Junior Academy, we aim to inspire in pupils a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
Children develop a good knowledge of countries in the world and are able to describe a location.
Children understand their local area including how it has changed, environmental issues that can impact their futures and surrounding areas including routes to other places.
Children have an awareness of key human and physical geographical features in the world and how they can impact human lives (climate, vegetation, trade links etc.).
As a school we make use of a range of resources and equip children on how to use such as map reading skills both hardback and digitally.
