Spelling
Each week, your teacher will share spellings which you need to learn at home. Year 6 Spelling Tests will normally be on a Friday.
One of the best strategies to use is Look-Cover-Write. To do this, first copy the spelling and look closely at the spelling. Then, cover the word and try to write it without looking at the spelling.
Some of our spelling words follow rules. You will be able to find these rules below but remember there are always exceptions to the rule!
Two spellings a week will be chosen from the Y5/6 spelling list. These will not follow the rule.
