  • Year 3

Over the last half-term, Year 3 have been incredibly busy and have achieved so much across all areas of their learning. A particular highlight was our fantastic production of What a Knight, where the children performed brilliantly and truly shone on stage.  Year 3 adults felt so proud of the dedication and hard work they put into making the show such a success.

In Maths, the children have been developing their understanding of fractions and measurement, showing great progress and enthusiasm.  In English, the children have thoroughly enjoyed reading Escape from Pompeii and they have used this as an inspiration to write their own newspaper reports about the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, using some wonderfully vivid vocabulary.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting final term planned, including a trip to Wroxeter Roman City to deepen our knowledge of Roman life, and a Pedestrian Walk to help us build our understanding of road safety.
